Design work started in March 2014 and we secured the planning consent 4 months later with no conditions attached. The period included all needed preliminary consultations. The job is due to start in October with view to be completed 6 months later. The tall and sleek 3 storey design, which doubles the total area of the original building, is in stark contrast with anything else in the area. While the extension doubles the total area of the existing semi-detached, it still manages to integrate perfectly well in the neighbourhood, without causing any serious overlooking or overbearing.
